The graduation ceremony for the fifth intake of Sberbank Corporate University’s Mini-MBA took place on 7 December. Of 300 participants 29 graduated with honours. Two group projects of the intake received top marks: a new process for identifying corporate call centre clients and a new service for notifying clients about the temporary unavailability of cash-in operations.
The graduates enjoyed an exciting and inspiring day. Russian footballer and UEFA 2005 cup winner Yevgeny Aldonin and photograther Anton Ganzha shared their stories of career challenges. During the graduation ceremony, Sberbank senior vice-president and head of Risks, Dzhangir Dzhangirov, told the graduates to keep going. “Nine months of your study here are an investment in yourself and your future first and foremost. Take something new and useful for your career from every programme that you undertake in the future,” he said.
The Sberbank Mini-MBA programme was launched in 2015 to close a gap in the system of management training at Sberbank and provide executive training for high-potential line managers. The programme was redesigned in 2017 to align with Sberbank’s new strategic priorities and new competency model, as well as feedback from students and global trends in management development. As of today, 1415 Sberbank managers are programme alumni.
